Originally from Santa Fe, NM, Roger came to Southern California to pursue a career at Disneyland. During his tenure at the park he played in quite a few bands including: The Disneyland Band, The Side Street Strutters, The Magic Kingdom Korps, The River Rascals, The Jambalaya Jazz Band and many more. Since Disneyland occupied his weekends, holidays and summers, Roger was also able to pursue a career in music education. After more than 25 years as a high school band director, Roger is now retired and occupying his time playing drums and bass in various jazz combos, big bands and The Brass Roots Initiative!!
